Love the food, always good. Great service, good prices.
Nice local feel. I ordered Flounders and fries. It was tender. Captin D’s is better. Fries were fresh. Just the same fries you can get at the store. Hush puppies were good. Once we got our food there was NO!!!! service. My tea glass was empty when the food came and I placed on the edge on the table. Every waitress in the place walked by and not a one even looked down. After we finished eating we were able to get a tea too go. Only after asking. I guess they figured we were not local and wouldn’t be back. They were right, but on our next visit we will no eat there or recomend it to other. My son lives in Macon. We visit a lot. You can bet we will not eat at there Macon joint either.
Big portions of good food. I recommended this restaurant to some friends that were camping on the island this past weekend. They asked for a recommendation of a “cheap” seafood restaurant. I did make the comment that cheap and seafood don’t go together, but told them this restaurant would fit their budget and that they would enjoy their dinner. I met them there and had really good fried shrimp. Their kids were happy with their peanut shrimp dinners.
